I just released HN-Feed: a Hacker News feed tool. Yes, another open source project on Github, this time it’s my first public repo with the MEAN stack.

Hacker News feed tool: What is it?

Just an MEAN app to auto-fetch every hour the Hacker News links about a custom topic in order to read later (or whatever)

Some interesting points:

  • You can set the topic
  • Scheduled auto-fetch every hour, cron job style
  • Remove a link
  • API Console
  • Force a fetch
  • Clean database collection
  • Run server
