😣 In this month I hard worked: I just planned develop and ship Glasslytics and the first point of Ghostboard. Guess what happened!
In fact, the launch of Glasslytics was forced. In the last day of the month I decided to launch and see what people say about it, even I wasn't be 100% happy with the app 😕
I will keep updating it based on the users' feedback and whatever I need, because I use it too 🤓
⚖️ What I got
Very little.
On the day of the launch Glasslytics only got about 3 upvotes in Product Hunt 🙀 ¡3! Nothing else. No comments, no signups, nothing.
Looking for an answer, the next day I discovered that there was a technical problem in my servers for which sometimes the load was extremely slow or ended up failing. I got to detect up to 1 minute of waiting.
Unacceptable, sure. I already know it. And I did not detect it in my tests.
It could be worse? Yes, of course, and this problem also affected Ghostboard and a user reported the problem to me.
After fixing it in a few minutes, things started to change:
Some votes came in Hacker News, no comments.
In Product Hunt the votes multiplied:
And the first and relatively positive comments came:
The rest of the comments are my answers to these.
But it was too late, I was already in very low positions of the daily listings and few people would see it already. Shot wasted 🤧
Yes, you can imagine, a fucking disaster 😱
For all this, it's been a shit month 💩

- 💵 $15 MRR

👎 If you saw the previous report, the customer numbers and income do not match, huh? That's right, the reason is that one of the first customers' payment has failed (2 times, the last attempt remains, on time yet) 💁 so probably next month we will subtract a client 💩
🎮 About the free trial on the previous month: one is the new client, another blog was deleted itself, another blog was a test just installed (and then abandoned) and the rest did not enter the card 💳
There are several blogs in free trial, we'll see who will stay next month 🤞
To be positive, I must also say something of which I am very proud: the majority of current clients and some new users are incredible: I receive regular feedback messages, requests and even support ❤️

I have not planned to release anything new in October 💥 BOOM
🍹⛱ It does not mean that I'm going to take holidays 🎮 or to play these video games that are coming out at this time and I like them so much, I'm in saving mode! 🐷
What I am going to do? Focus on Ghostboard, I have several ideas I want to make and others to try. We will evaluate the results again, of course.
Maybe by the end of the year if I'm going to launch something else again, but that's another topic
Anyway, that's the way things have been and that's how I've told them. I like transparency and therefore I apply it to me first, if things go well or bad not so good 💪 I will keep fighting!
